Get the official list first
Use your school’s current handbook, syllabus, and placement instructions to decide what to buy. This is a shopping organizer, not a universal equipment list or a review of particular products.
Sort purchases into three groups
| Group | How to decide |
|---|---|
| Required | The school specifies it. Confirm the exact edition, size, color, technical specification, and purchase deadline. |
| Useful | It solves a real study or travel need and is not already available through the school. |
| Optional | It adds convenience, but can wait until you know your routine. |
Your pre-purchase checklist
Your checks stay in this page only. Print this checklist to keep a copy.
Keep product claims in perspective
A product sold for students is not automatically required by your school. We do not recommend pressure levels for compression products, make treatment claims, or claim hands-on testing in this guide. Ask the relevant instructor about specifications before buying clinical equipment.
Give your budget a buffer
Separate one-time purchases from subscriptions and replacements. Record renewal dates and cancellation terms for digital resources. Add your known costs to the calculator, leaving unconfirmed categories blank.
